Singosari App by Muzar used as showcase on Digital Heritage 2013 in Marseille, France
Our Singosari App (made in collaboration with the National Museum of Ethnology, Leiden NL and Museum Nasional, Jakarta indonesia) is selected as one of the showcases to be presented on the 2013 conference on Digital Heritage.
With a website and an app for mobile phones, the two museums are working together to tell the whole story of the rise and fall of the Indonesian kingdom of Singosari / Majapahit. Scientific research is carried out together, and in the website, the museum and the app results are presented as an exciting story for the lays. Besides telling the stories (with text, images and video), augmented reality is used to show the original situation, with the statues “in situ”.
